Whilst we construct buildings for all uses, we have made our name and reputation by providing high class agricultural and equestrian buildings supplied to your specifications. We can construct any form of agricultural buildings
We ensure adequate ventilation with the use of open or vented ridges, Yorkshire/space boarding or vent-air box profile cladding. We cater for riding arenas and covered yards, by using very large, clear spans. Grain stores and workshops are made watertight with concrete walls.
Roof, walls, doors and cladding to suit your application
Our steelwork is available in a painted or galvanised finish and can incorporate overhangs and cantilevers to keep food or loading areas dry. All timber is tanalised and any Z-Purlins are galvanised. We generally use Eternit “Big 6” fibre cement roof sheets to avoid condensation. Box profile sheets with or without an anti-condensation backing are also available. Skylights are incorporated into the roof, allowing more daylight and lower lighting costs. Buildings come complete with wind bracing and are normally in 15 or 20-foot bays. They are fixed onto holding-down bolts, which are set into concrete pads. Any roof pitches are considered.
In recent years, the use of pre-stressed concrete wall panels has become increasingly popular. This is due to their ease of installation and capacity to be relocated later. We have installed many of these panels, ranging from thinner stock walls to thicker grain and silage walls, and even “Rocket” type dividing walls.
Doors for such buildings can range from hinged, roller-shutter or sliding and can be split to provide more ventilation. The cladding is available in different colours and feeding barriers, gates and internal partitions can be added to complete your new building the way you require it.
